A Fresh Identity for a New Era
This branding project follows Eva’s transition from Studio Heimat, an acclaimed San Francisco interior design firm she co-founded with fellow designer Alicia Cheung. I was tasked with creating distinct brand identities for both Eva and Alicia while their portfolios remained nearly identical. Designing two separate yet equally compelling brands required a careful balance of individuality and shared history.
For Eva, I designed a logo, brand system, website, and promotional booklet, ensuring her new brand felt both personal and visually compelling. The website balances her aesthetics with functionality, featuring beautiful photography by Frank Frances and elements that reflect Eva’s personality and design sensibilities. As a nod to her Swiss heritage, I incorporated a Swiss cross into the branding, reflecting her roots and paying homage to her birthplace.
